Bio:
Nina Moskowitz (she/they) is a queer, mixed-race Asian American woman who has dedicated their career to student services and needs of marginalized populations in higher education. Nina is a transfer student alum who graduated with a BA in English from UC Berkeley, and MA in Asian American Studies from San Francisco State University, and both her undergraduate and graduate theses research centered the positionality of mixed-race individuals. Nina has worked in student services for five years, and previously worked as a Learning Specialist with the Athletic Study Center, providing academic support to Cal’s student athlete population. Outside of their work, Nina is a passionate activist, a creative writer, an avid reader, and a dedicated cat mom to her fur baby, Jiji.
