Michaela Gooch


A Little About Myself:

Michaela is a proud Californian, growing up in Sacramento and the Bay Area. She is an animal lover who does part-time dog walking and is passionate about making college institutions more welcoming places for non-traditional students.  

Previous Institution/Community College:

 She first attended le before deciding to move to back to California. She then spent two years at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz before transferring to Cal in the fall of 2017.

My Involvement on Campus:

Beyond interning at the Transfer Center, she works at Doe and Moffitt Libraries. She's a part of the Queer Student Union and is a Major Insights mentor.  

Future Plans:

After graduating Cal in December 2019, Michaela plans on going to grad school to become an academic counselor or advisor and continue working with her favorite kind of students: transfers!
